We make elegant, structured Cabernet Sauvignon, crafted from our four estate vineyards — some of the best terroir the Napa Valley has to offer. The wines are crafted with integrity and without compromise, and deliver our signature profile year in and year out — a result of our careful hand in all aspects of the making process, from dirt to bottle.
Winemaker Peter Heitz is just as passionate about farming and fine tuning our vineyard practices as he is in making wine. We craft our final winemaking blends lot by lot, tasting and evaluating each for specific attributes and characteristics.
Like a complex puzzle, our winemaker weaves together a narrative of place. Lots are assigned one by one to final blends to showcase the personality of our flagship and single vineyard wines. The wines age in 100% French Oak barrels and bottle for an extended period before release.
Two of our wines have been awarded a prestigious 100 point score by Robert Parker and the Wine Advocate. In the 2013 vintage, Parker gave two additional wines nearly perfect 99 point scores, and all six of our Cabernet Sauvignons from that vintage scored 95 points and above.
